Design the full transaction lifecycle, from fraud checks and 3DS to routing and execution, without writing backend code.

Your fraud tools, identity providers and gateways don't talk to each other. Composer puts them on one canvas, so you can see, change and explain the full transaction lifecycle.
Fraud, identity, 3DS and gateway events land in one place, so you make each decision with all of your payment data.
The team that owns the outcome changes the logic and deploys it, with no engineering ticket or release cycle.
Routing across multiple gateways with rules on top gets intricate. On the canvas, you can follow each path and explain it to anyone.
Pull gateways, fraud, identity and 3DS onto the canvas and connect them with your own credentials, or pick from Spreedly's marketplace of pre-negotiated providers ready to deploy.
Configure thresholds, conditional branches, failover and response handling on the canvas. Split traffic to A/B test a new fraud rule or routing path against the current one.
Test a flow, publish it in minutes, and watch it run on real volume. Keep the version that wins, or roll back if the results don't hold.
Chain fraud, identity, authentication and execution in any order. A few of the many flows the canvas makes possible.
HIGHER APPROVALS, LESS CHECKOUT DROP-OFF
Run a fraud check first, trigger 3DS only when the risk score crosses your threshold, then authorize. Composer applies SCA exemptions for you.
FASTER ONBOARDING, FEWER ABANDONED SIGNUPS
Run identity verification, KYC and payment authorization as one workflow, which PSP-native orchestration doesn't cover.
KEEP TAKING PAYMENTS DURING AN OUTAGE
If your primary gateway declines or times out, Composer reroutes the transaction to a secondary. You don't touch code or open an incident.
CASE STUDY · E-COMMERCE MERCHANT
Engineering time saved on payment logic
Revenue recaptured through better decisioning
Annual loss prevented from fraud and bad credit
Estimate the engineering hours and labor cost you save when Composer replaces manual work on gateways, payment methods, routing and testing logic. The more often your stack and logic changes, the more engineering time Spreedly returns to your team
PCI-compliant tokenization your gateways all share. Store credentials once, keep them current, and use them anywhere.

Still have a question? Talk to us →Composer is a visual workflow builder for payments. You drag gateways, fraud tools, identity checks and routing rules onto a canvas, connect them in the order you want them to run, and publish. Composer runs the flow you draw on each transaction, so you have no payment code to write, deploy or maintain.
You need one integration to Spreedly up front. After that, payments, risk and finance teams change flows themselves. Adding a gateway, reordering a fraud check, or splitting traffic for a test is a change in Composer, not a release in your codebase.
Any of the 150+ gateways, fraud providers, identity services and payment methods Spreedly already supports, plus your existing merchant accounts with them.
A catalog of payment and fraud/risk providers with pre-negotiated terms, ready to deploy from inside Composer. You sign one contract with Spreedly and can test a new vendor without a procurement cycle.
You define failover in the flow: if the primary gateway declines or times out, the transaction retries on a secondary path you choose, using the same stored credential. Because credentials live in the vault rather than at one processor, retrying elsewhere doesn't mean asking the customer to re-enter a card.
Yes. Split traffic by percentage between two paths, run them side by side, and compare authorization rate and cost on real volume. When one wins, move the split. If it doesn't, roll back to the previous published version.
Spreedly is a PCI DSS Level 1 service provider. Card data is captured and tokenized in the Spreedly vault, so raw PANs stay out of your systems and out of the flows you build. That shrinks your PCI assessment scope.
Teams already integrated with Spreedly can build and publish a first flow the same day. New integrations depend on your checkout and migration path; if you have credentials sitting at an existing processor, we handle the vault migration as part of onboarding.
