2020 impacted all of us in many different ways. At Spreedly, we had a front-row seat to real-time changes in digital payments. And while we benefited substantially from the global shift in consumer behavior, we also saw first hand the negative impact for many customers in adversely impacted verticals.

Our customers, direct merchants and vertical software platforms designed to help businesses accept digital payments online, moved quickly to adapt to the new reality. Volumes for online ordering platforms skyrocketed; giving and charity services stepped up their efforts to help the less fortunate. Our health and fitness orientated customers responded as we all changed our health and fitness routines. While we've always been proud of our role in enabling an open, agnostic payment ecosystem that results in more inclusive and fairer outcomes, this year felt different. We knew we were helping make a difference day-to-day and week-to-week across the globe.

2021 promises to be a much better year as we slowly return to normal. That doesn't mean we expect things to return to normal at Spreedly. Many of these consumer behavior changes are here to stay, while we expect our travel, leisure, and event customers to begin the road to recovery. We will continue to help enable and optimize digital transactions for a global payment ecosystem. Thank you to all of you for letting us help be part of the year that was 2020 and to a more enjoyable, but no less hectic, 2021.
